Garmin Forerunner® 265S

Forerunner 265s fra Garmin is a super light and elegant running watch for the dedicated runner. And now Forerunner 265 is released with an AMOLED touchscreen display, like in the Fenix 7-collection. Forerunner 265 is still equipped with a multisports feature, so it can also be used by triathletes. The watch comes in different sizes, a regular version (Forerunner 265) and a smaller version (Forerunner 265S), both sizes has a Music-feature.

Garmin Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 265S is mainly a running watch for the dedicated runner who wants a running watch providing data and insight into your workouts with analysis and improvements. Garmin Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 265S has a long list of training profiles, including new ones like training readiness, which makes the watch suitable for more than just running.

AMOLED touch-screen

The new AMOLED screen provides a significantly better display than in the previous watches. In addition to getting a better display, the watch is now also available with touch-features. The touch-feature is especially useful when you scroll around outside training – i.e. if you have to check out training history, read your ”morning-report”, plan an interval session, etc.. Its much faster and easier with the touch screen! 

Updated design 

You can choose between two sizes: – 42 mm and 46 mm (1,1” and 1,3” screen respectively).   In addition there are several new straps (with ”Quick Release”), so you can tailor-make your look.  
 
BATTERY LIFE

In regular mode (smartwatch mode) the battery life can last up to 13 days. With the GPS turned on its 20 hours. Notice: The battery life is reduced when the Multiband is turned on. 

Garmin Pay 

With Garmin Pay you can set your watch, so you can use it instead of your credit card. In this way, you can make sure that you always have a means of payment at hand. 

Training readiness

This new feature creates a score for you each morning based on quality of sleep, recovery, training load and your HRV status. In total the numbers provide an indication of how ready you are to work out that particular day. 

Running Power

Running Power allows you to run according to watt. You can set your watch to see how many watt you produce. In this way you get another value instead of heart rate and pace which can be very valuable – especially in hilly terrain. 

ADVANCED PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS 

Garmin Forerunner 265 og 265S helps you to analyze your training before, during and after with performance analysis. In addition the watch will inform you if you are working on endurance or max. effect with aerobic or anaerobic training effect.  Garmin Forerunner 265 offers you Performance condition, Training status and Recommended recovery as tools to reach the optimal effect of your workouts.

TRAINING STATUS

On the back of your latest workouts and performances, Training status will evaluate your physical condition. Thanks to performance indicators, the watch will inform you if your training is productive, optimal or if you need to reduce the load. The feature has been updated in the Forerunner 265 and 265S.  

ACUTE LOAD 

With Acute Load the watch helps you to measure your latest activities so can work out with the right amount of intensity and avoid working out too much or too little. 

GARMIN MUSIC 

There is music in Forerunner 265 as well as Forerunner 265S.  The watches are designed with integrated storage for music files and playlists. With Garmin Music you can store up to 500 songs directly on the watch. Connect a wireless headset to bluetooth and you are ready for your workout without having to worry about wires and storing your smartphone. Transfer MP3 files or offline playlists from Spotify Premium or Deezer Premium wireless or with Wi-Fi or cable. 

SMARTWATCH AND ACTIVITY MONITOR 

Garmin Forerunner 265 and 265S is also your daily activity monitor which measures steps, calories, heart rate, sleep registration and much more. With the Forerunner 265 and 265S you can receive notifications, calls, calendar of the day, weather reports and much much more as long as its connected to your smartphone via bluetooth. 

ADVANCED SLEEP REGISTRATION INCLUDING HRV-STATUS 

Garmin Forerunner 265 and 265S measures your sleep rhythm and via the accelerometer, Garmin Elevate and the Pulse Ox sensor measures your movements during the night and your moments of unrest. In addition it also measures your HRV-status which provides information on if you are ready to work out or you need to take it easy.

In addition you get the classsic training profiles such as running, cycling and various fitness profiles as well as pool swimming, so you get a watch fit for all your needs regardless if you’re a running nerd or exercise runner who loves working out. 

CONNECTION

Garmin Forerunner 265 and 265S has Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth and ANT+ connection.
With Forerunner 265 you can upload your data and training history via bluetooth for your smartphone and the connected Wi-Fi network. With Forerunner 265 the watch can be paired with third party heart rate monitors connected via bluetooth, and the Music-versions can be connected to all new wireless bluetooth headset. 

GARMIN CONNECT 

Use Garmin Connect on either smartphone or PC/Mac to complete your experience with your Forerunner 245 Music. Garmin Connect is Garmins online universe, which will assemble all your data so you can check everything from steps to sleep rhythm and todays training in an easy and organized way. Garmin Connect is more than just a library for your data. In Garmin Connect you can challenge your friends to different challenges such as steps, running or a third thing.
